Ratu Ilmu Hitam or The Queen of Black Magic is one of the best Indonesia’s horror movie to life by having an advanced CG and VFX work that produced and created a magical world filled with frightening thriller of 124 shots. Our team are responsible for a lot of sequences and one of them are the final sequences, which takes place where Anton was checking inside the bus just for him to get killed by the curse of the black magic, Lina eating the caterpillars, and Jefri’s broken arm that caused by the black magic again.
Summaries
Families were terrorized at the orphanage. Someone wants them dead, apparently with black magic that is very deadly. She has a grudge and she was also born because of the sins of the orphans who formed her into the Queen of Black Magic.

For Citra Awards, the movie has won 2 awards and 3 nominees, the winner includes Best Supporting Actor and Best Visual Effects. For the nominees of Citra Awards includes Best Makeup & Hairstyling, Best Editing, and Best Adapted Screenplay. Other than Citra Awards, the movie has won 1 awards of Midnight X-Treme Award from Sitges – Catalonian International Film Festival. The movie also nominated for Best International Movie of Chainsaw Award from Fangoria Chainsaw Awards.
